Chayofa, village life with a window on Los Cristianos

1 December 2008 No Comment

They couldn´t sound further apart, the quiet traditional village of Chayofa, with stunning views from its green hills, and Los Cristianos, the bustling doorway to the tourism beaches and nightlife of South Tenerife. The good news is they exist just a few minutes drive from each other, allowing residents of Mirador del Atlantico, Chayofa, the best of both worlds.
Restaurants with fine international cuisine, like La Estancia, have helped to put Chayofa on everyone´s must visit list. Nearby is the popular Jungle Park and the Finca del Arte is a converted farm that hosts music, art and dance in a relaxing setting. Peering through the trees and plants, Los Cristianos spreads out below from the main crossroads and bus station to the port and the Atlantic beyond. Mirador del Atlantico makes the most of the views with sun catching terraces and spiral staircases up to the second floor private solariums. Car parking is tucked below the complex of stylish apartments and a two tone pastel shade finish adds to the charm of the building.
